The people of Iran who seek to downfall of the Islamic Republic view this decision as a sign of the Australian government's solidarity with the Iranian people and Israel, as well as a step toward combating anti-Semitism and ensuring the security of Australia and its citizens.

Additionally, the people of Iran have expressed support to the Lebanese government for its decision to maintain security by disarming Hezbollah. Considering the Islamic Republic's blatant interference in Lebanon's internal affairs and the IRGC's backing of Hezbollah—which threatens Lebanon's security—the Iranian people have called for the closure of the Islamic Republic's embassy in Beirut, the expulsion of its ambassador, and the inclusion of the IRGC on the list of terrorist organizations.
